My background as a senior expert in R&D for power systems… Over the years I have developed considerable expertise with industrial applications for circuit breakers and motor starters, doing modeling and equipment simulation, and performing analyses of generator protection systems. I have more recently started developing my expertise in project management, which I plan to develop for the next step in my career. I have also done technical training and I have managed the internal network for EMTP-ATP software (power systems simulations) for 6 years, during which I have trained more than 80 people within our company. I’ve been a member of IEEE since 2005 and have presented more than fifteen technical papers at IEEE and other conferences. In addition, I am the author or co-author of 5 patents on protection relay applications and soft-starter hardware and control optimization.
