Gordon is a property developer, smart city consultant, global thought leader in cities, technology clusters, city developer, and a chartered surveyor. Before joining Schneider, he worked for Cisco in Singapore as the Director of Urban Innovation and before that as the Head of Strategy & Real Estate at Masdar City, Abu Dhabi. Gordon is a trusted advisor worldwide to high level executives, governments, NGO’s and government leaders with extensive network including World Bank and European Commission. He also is Advisory Board member on various global city programmes such as University College London and Singapore government agencies and is the Chairman of the Advisory Board for the United 4 Smart Cities programme based out of Vienna which works with ITU and 17 major UN agencies. Gordon is an Australian and a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the Australian Property Institute.
